The Coastal Bend Council of Governments, through a grant from the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality, has created a limited scholarship program to apply to the Substandard Structures Investigation class to be held in Rockport on June 7th.

Fees Covered
This program pays the fees to attend this class for the first thirty (30) eligible persons. This is not a reimbursement program; if you are eligible, CBCOG will pay your fee directly to TIDRC.

Who is Eligible
All city and county code and police officers, deputies, constables, prosecutors, registered sanitarians, elected officials and other local government staff and board members from the following counties (and cities located in these counties) are eligible to apply: Aransas, Bee, Brooks, Duval, Jim Wells, Kenedy, Kleberg, Live Oak, Nueces, Refugio, San Patricio. If you are not associated with one of these counties -- or a city located in one of these counties -- you are not eligible for this scholarship.

If you would like to attend this class for free, you can apply by clicking here. Note that only thirty of these scholarships are available. If you are awarded one of these scholarships for the June 7th class but find that you are unable to attend, inform us immediately so that we can award your place to someone else.
