TIDRC Cancellation Policies

When We Might Cancel a Class
We will make every effort to conduct classes as scheduled. In rare situations, mostly in response to bad
weather, that would result in unsafe travel conditions or in situations where students will likely be required
to work, a class may be rescheduled. When this happens we will notify all participants at the email address
they used to register of the cancellation and set an alternative date as soon as possible.

Registered Students Not Attending a Class
We have operated for many years with no formal student cancellation policy, however, because of an increase
in participants registering and then failing to attend without giving notice (which causes us to incur unnecessary
costs) we have had to implement a formal cancellation policy. If you find that you are not able to attend this class
as planned, our policy is that we must receive notification within 24 hours of the start of the class or you will be
liable for the full fee (where a fee is charged for the class). Where a class is free, please notify us as soon as possible
in the event you can’t attend so that we can make your seat available for another participant. Situations of illness or
last-minute emergencies will be handled case-by-case. If you need to cancel, just send an email 24 hours prior to
the class to ockels@tidrc.com, and you’ll be all set.

Fee Payment
If there is a fee for a class, it is due at the time of registration and may be paid by either a credit or debit card.
If you need to make other arrangements, please contact John Ockels at ockels@tidrc.com.

Thank you for your understanding.
